Sadly, this left a gray film on my hair after cleansing with it twice on a single wash day. My hair is naturally a shiny black color. I assume the film was the Polyquat-7 or another film forming ingredient added to create the conditioning effect. Conditioning does not equal moisture however. I use minimal product on my hair on wash day (two all natural stylers) and had just clarified my hair the week prior, so I did not have any buildup. The film this left ended up interfering with my styling and the products did not set well in my hair. I had to re-wash and style again after 3 days. I really had high hopes for this after reading the positive reviews.
It's the slip! There is a silky nature to this shampoo that helps me move toward conditioning already able to run my fingers through much of my shoulder length hair. Rather than creating a dry mass of hair that takes gobs of conditioning to manage, this shampoo gets you quite a ways there while lightly sudsing and freshly.cleaning my hair. I've used it for more than a year and my curls are calm, hydrated, and no longer damaged and frizzed by the washing process.
This shampoo has a “buttery-yogurt” texture and was highly moisturizing. I recommend
This hair products had helped me so much my my curls, it works with any kind of hair i have 3c. And it’s just amazing.
Love how this product provides just enough lather, but is free of all the bad stuff
This Shampoo is creamy, smells good and it cleans your hair and scalp.
It cleans your hair and scalp, a small amount will clean moisturize and hydrate your hair.
I already used and finished a whole 8 oz of this shampoo and almost halfway done with my 2nd purchase. Its safe to say I really like this product. It is incredibly moisturizing and feels like I could detangle my hair with it... it has that much slip. My hair loves it, and my curls pop every time I wash with it. It has a great smell, reminds me of coconut candy.. sweet but not overpowering. I have even used it on my children which I can't say for a lot of shampoos I have used for myself in the past. About me and my hair: Lo Po, natural for the 2nd time and for over 5yrs currently, a mix of high density 4A,B,C. I have seborrheic dermatitis and have for years, and I've come to realize certain ingredients make my scalp flare allll the way up. Shea Butter and I are not friends because of this and I cant use Olive oil either! This shampoo and all the products from the line that I have tried do not irritate my scalp or cause flare ups. I am so grateful for a line that doesn't use shea butter! THANK YOU Susan!! HOLY GRAIL
I've been using this Shampoo for 2 years now and I'm still pleased with the way it makes my hair feel soft and silky.
I really liked the feel of my hair after washing with the Curl Cleanse. However it did not work well paired with the Detangler for me and my curls.
This is the only shampoo that doesn't take a lot to use and will wash your head!
My hair is so clean and soft After using this moisturizing shampoo . I have used several shampoos some sulfate free and some not , some expensive and some a lil cheaper; I was beginning the think all shampoo end results were the same until I found Earth tones, boy does it make a difference . I use the shampoo, conditioner the butter and the oil they all work wonderful together. Dare I say it - I found my holy grail.
I do use this product for over three years it is excellent for my hair. It truly keep my hair moisturised and very soft I love it. It only takes a nickel size amount to cleanse my hair.
This moisturizing and conditioning shampoo removes buildup and moisturizes my hair at the same time, I only need to use a quarter size amount because a little goes a long way, saves me money.
This product is both a great cleaning agent and conditioning agent all rolled up into one. It is so conditioning I can detangle my hair! Love this product!
I believe this shampoo is essential to preserving the moisture of the hair. I have been using a medicated shampoo, for my scalp; however, it seemed like I was fighting with moisture retention in my hair. Then I considered the ingredients in the medicated shampoo, (i.e. alcohol, sulfate, etc), was stripping some of the moisture from my hair. So, I began to alternate, incorporating this curl cleanse moisturizing & conditioning shampoo; and within 2 washes, my hair seems to be retaining better moisture.
Hello ladies just a short review on the Earth Tones Natural products. I have been using the Earth Tones Naturals products probably from November/December 2013. I am very pleased. In just a few months of usage I've noticed I loose less hair during and after shampooing and combing my hair. Where as before I would have a hand full and a comb full of hair during the washing and conditioning process. Not only that, )this is one I just realized a few weeks ago).... Prior to using the Earth Tones Naturals products, I would get dry patches across my forehead, right at the hairline, as well as behind my right ear. I have not experienced the dry patches!!!
